• The NORCET Preliminary stage is a qualifying in nature.
• NORCET Preliminary will not be used for deciding Merit/Rank for final selection.
• The duration of the examination shall be 90 minutes
• A total of 100 MCQs of 100 marks will be asked in the exam (20 MCQs of General Knowledge & Aptitude & 80 MCQs of the syllabus of Nursing courses being taught at the essential qualification level).
• There will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer.
• The question paper will be divided into 5 sections each of 18 minutes duration, where each section will have 20 questions.
