What Next After AFCAT 2 Result 2024
Once the AFCAT 2 Result 2024 is announced, all qualified candidates will be invited to participate in the AFSB interview. Candidates are expected to be physically fit when reporting to the SSB, as they will undergo various physical tests at AFSB. These include running 1.6 km (1 mile) within 10 minutes, performing 10 push-ups, and completing 3 chin-ups. The AFSB selection process consists of three stages:
Stage I: On the first day, candidates will undergo the Officer Intelligence Rating Test and the Picture Perception and Discussion Test. Stage I serves as a screening round. Candidates who qualify must proceed to document verification to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria for their chosen branch. Those who do not pass Stage I or meet the necessary criteria will be sent home on the same day.
Stage II: Following document verification, the psychological test will be held on the evening of Day 1, followed by Group Tests and Interviews over the next five days.
Flying Branch Candidates: Those recommended for the Flying Branch will undergo the Computerized Pilot Selection System (CPSS) test, which is conducted only once in a lifetime.
