Vice Presidents of India:- The Vice Presidents of India holds the second-highest constitutional position in the Government of India and serves as the ex-officio chairman of the Rajya Sabha. Vice Presidents of India: Qualification

  4. Upon election, the Vice President cannot be a sitting member of the Rajya Sabha.
  5. Must not hold any office of profit at the time of election.
