ITBP Driver Selection Process 2024 for Physical Efficiency Test
The physical Efficiency Test is the first stage of the ITBP Driver Selection Process 2024. No marks will be assigned for this test and PET shall be qualifying in nature. Candidates need to pass each event of PET, those who do not qualify shall be eliminated. - Race 1.6 Kms: To be completed within 7:30 minutes.
- 11 Feet long jump: 03 Chances to be given.

Candidates who are declared qualified in PET will be screened for Height, Chest and Weight measurement. Those who do not fulfil the prescribed ITBP Driver physical measurement as applicable will be disqualified at this stage. Candidates declared successful in the Physical Standard Test will be called to appear for the next round of the ITBP Driver Selection Process 2024 i.e. Written Examination. ITBP Driver Selection Process 2024 for Document Verification
Candidates who are declared qualified in the written examination will be called to appear for the next round of the ITBP Driver Selection Process 2024 such as verification of original documents (Documentation) based on the marks secured in the written examination. Candidates need to carry the original documents and self-attested copies of certificates for scrutiny purposes. The list of documents required for scrutiny are as follow:
- Educational Certificate(s);
- Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculation or 10th Class Certificate);
- Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License;
- Professional / Experience Certificate, if any;
- Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) Certificate
- Domicile Certificate issued by local revenue authorities or PAN Card or Aadhar Card or Driving License or Voter Card for verification of citizenship
- Discharge certificate in case of Ex-Servicemen.

ITBP Driver Selection Process 2024 for Practical Skill Test
Another important stage of the ITBP Driver Selection Process 2024 shall be the Practical Skill Test. Candidates declared qualified in Documentation will be invited to appear for the Practical (Skill) Test. This practical skill test will carry 50 marks and qualifying marks for all categories will be 50%. The ITBP Driver Practical (Skill) Test shall be qualifying in nature only.
ITBP Driver Selection Process 2024 for DME/RME
The next round of the ITBP Driver Selection Process 2024 will be Detailed Medical Examination. Shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo DME to identify
their fitness. The DME of the candidates will be administered in terms of Uniform Guidelines for Recruitment Medical Examination. Candidates declared unfit during Detailed Medical Examination (DME) will have to attend the Review Medical Examination (RME), after submitting their written consent by appending their signature on the intimation specifying the reasons for being unfit as per the prescribed format.
